We get approached all the time to do refurbs since we’re great at doing developments on budget. We recently got approached by a serviced accommodation provider in Darlington, who is letting standard buy-to-let houses on short term leases.
Although this isn’t our sector, we prefer to stick to what we know – maximising returns by letting to families on long-term tenancies. We do know how to sell a property, that’s the same whoever you rent it to.
So we gave the property an NGU development:
- Black radiators – on trend
- Feature wall on the chimney breast
- Oak worktops in the kitchen
We also thought about our colour schemes to make the property look great!
